Dr Natalie Chua

Clinical Psychologist, Somatic Psychotherapist (D.Clin.Psych, MA, BSc)
Meditation and Yoga Teacher (RYT 200hrs)
Certified Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Teacher

Hello, my name is Natalie and I am a clinical psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I have worked in various mental health and educational settings over the last ten years and have supported many clients in overcoming their unique struggles and difficulties.

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, and trauma, and this is an area of healing that I am truly passionate about. I believe everyone is worthy and capable of re-building and re-discovering a more nourishing, peaceful and sustainable relationship with their mind, body, food, and identity.

My Approach

Outside of My Clinical Role

I am also a wellness consultant, and certified yoga and mindful self-compassion teacher.

I love creating, facilitating, and being in intentional spaces where people can come together in the community to learn, heal and grow alongside one another.

I have led many well-received courses, workshops, talks, and retreats internationally on the subject of self-compassion, embodiment, mindfulness, mental health awareness, trauma and eating disorder recovery and women's empowerment.

The natural ups and downs of life can either generate personal growth or create personal fears. Which of these dominates is completely dependent upon how we view change. Change can be viewed as either exciting or frightening, but regardless of how we see it, we must all face the fact that change is the very nature of life.
