I joined the MSC course during a tough moment of intense work and medical stress. I knew I had become disconnected from my body, often forgetting to look after my basic needs, and constantly running on manic autopilot. I burnt out, and I knew I needed to take better care of myself, be gentler to myself, and more empathetic towards myself. I was concerned that the MSC course may be 'too fluffy', 'too woolly', and that others' stories might be too much to listen to when I already felt overwhelmed, but I was wrong. I found the course to be enlightening. Full of practical tips, and simple practices. Rather than be overwhelmed by others' stories I felt a sense of shared experience, that I was not alone, and that we were in it together. I have learned so much about myself during this course - what's at the route of habitual behaviours and feelings, how to speak more kindly towards myself, and how to be more hopeful and open in times of inevitable stress. Natalie was both warm and wise, she listened, remembered, and encouraged us all along our journey, and did so with both sensitivity and a sense of humour. I would thoroughly recommend Natalie and the MSC course to anyone who feels the need to reconnect with themselves and remember their inner goodness.

I’m so grateful for introducing me to a new attitude on how to have a more helpful and kinder relationship with myself and others in such a gentle, curious, and inspiring way. I’m so so grateful for teaching me wonderful tools and techniques that help me to manage difficult emotions. From the first session of the course to our final parting poem on self compassion, Natalie has guided me on an amazing journey of self awareness. The mindful self compassion course has shown me how to listen to myself and my feelings and to appreciate how I can bring peace into my life by being self compassionate. My learning from this course has been augmented by Natalie’s wisdom, kindness and empathy. Natalie is a wonderful teacher and she has shown me not only how vital self compassion is for my well-being, she has also introduced me to mindfulness practices that I can continue to develop. I have attended Natalie's Self Compassion Workshop and various meditation sessions and I have always enjoyed them immensely. Today’s world is so filled with chaos and distractions that often drain our energy. Living in a fast-paced society also post a high demand on us that often compromise our well-beings. I am impressed with Natalie’s passion in promoting mindfulness and self-compassion in this society that so need it. It is as if injecting a cool light breeze into a hot summer day.
I like her way of guiding, which was clear, professional and filled with compassion. I could feel the positive impact even though it was just a short 2-hour introductory session. Here’s wishing that more people will come together to learn about mindfulness and self-compassion.
